FS2 does not have a single channel number on Spectrum — it changes by city. This guide gives you the number for your area, tells you which plan actually includes it, and explains what to do when you flip to it and get nothing.
Channel 401 works in most Spectrum areas — but not all. This is where most people get confused. FS2 is not in every Spectrum TV plan — and the naming of Spectrum’s plans has changed enough over the past couple of years that older information online is often wrong. Here’s the accurate picture.
Spectrum’s entry-level cable plan includes local channels, news, and a solid general entertainment lineup — but FS2 is not included. You’ll see the channel in the guide, and if you try to tune in, you’ll get a message that the channel is not part of your subscription. To unlock FS2 on this plan, you need to add the Sports View add-on. Don’t assume you have it just because you have Spectrum TV.

One of FS2’s most consistent year-round programs is America’s Day at the Races — daily live thoroughbred horse racing from New York Racing Association tracks including Saratoga, Belmont, and Aqueduct. If you follow horse racing at all, FS2 is a daily viewing channel for most of the year. Coverage runs for several hours on race days.
During college football Saturdays and college basketball season, games that can’t fit on FS1 due to scheduling conflicts move to FS2.
