When could RxPass cost less?

Check eligibility before counting on $5
Prime + prescription
RxPass requires Prime, an Amazon Pharmacy account, and valid prescriptions. Only one person per Amazon account can enroll at a time.
Medicare is different from Medicaid
Medicare beneficiaries can qualify. Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries are excluded. Other eligibility rules still apply.
Confirm your shipping state
Amazon’s FAQ lists California and Washington as excluded; its terms also list Texas. Confirm Texas eligibility directly with Amazon before subscribing.
Payment rules
The RxPass fee cannot be paid with HSA/FSA funds or combined with insurance benefits.
Make a fair price comparison
- Match the prescription. Same medicine, strength, immediate- or extended-release form, and days’ supply.
- Compare the final totals. Include membership costs, taxes, and any charge shown at checkout. For a 90-day quote, divide by three to compare with a 30-day quote.
- Confirm before transferring. Check availability and delivery timing. Ask the pharmacist about prescription changes; do not change doses to match a cheaper listing.

Reviewed September 21, 2026. Drug links come from Amazon’s published RxPass list. Public Prime cash prices are checked periodically and carry individual timestamps. Older saved prices are labelled; prices older than 24 hours are hidden. Insurance quotes, stock levels and eligibility decisions are not retrieved. Offers can change; Amazon confirms the final quote and eligibility.
Membership comparisons use simple arithmetic: 12 × monthly medication spending minus 12 × $5, minus any newly added Prime cost. Prime’s other benefits are not assigned a dollar value.
