Why is the price at my station different?
State and metro averages cover many stations. A specific pump price can differ by location, fuel grade, cash versus credit, rewards and membership discounts. The large number above is always labeled with its region.
How do I find the cheapest reported gas nearby?
Choose your fuel, enter a ZIP and select “Lowest reported price.” When recent station reports are available, those results come first. If there are no reports, the tool says so and keeps the station map and directions available.
How often do these prices update?
AAA averages are published daily. This site checks for updates several times a day and displays the source’s publication date. Optional station reports show their own timestamps; reports older than 48 hours are excluded from price comparisons.
Do I need to install an app or share GPS?
No. This tool works in your browser. Enter a ZIP code if you prefer not to share location. “Use my location” asks your browser for permission; the saved place can be cleared with “Forget saved location.”
