Dallas already played this week. The Cowboys met Tampa Bay on Thursday night on Prime Video and lost 24–16, which is why nothing shows up for this Sunday. The next game is a week from Sunday at Lambeau Field, and it is a national broadcast, so the answer to “what’s it streaming on” is short. The harder question is how to watch it, and the rest of the season, without paying for a bundle you will use twice.
Key Answers Before Sunday Night
Most of the confusion around this game comes from three things: a Thursday game that already happened, a Peacock plan that looks right and is not, and an old habit of assuming Sunday Ticket covers everything.
Sunday, October 18, at Green Bay, with kickoff at 8:20 PM Eastern (7:20 Central, 6:20 Mountain, 5:20 Pacific). It airs on NBC as Sunday Night Football and streams on Peacock.
Dallas played its Week 5 game on Thursday night (Prime Video), so it has no Sunday game on October 11. The bye week is not until Week 14. Nothing is wrong with your cable or app.
Free, if your antenna pulls in your local NBC station. Paid, it is Peacock Premium at $12.99/month after the August price increase. Both beat any live-TV bundle, which now runs roughly $83–$90 a month.
Premium ($12.99) or Premium Plus ($19.99). The Select tier ($8.99) has no live sports at all, and we found that on Peacock’s own plan comparison, not just in reviews. Premium Plus mostly adds a clean on-demand library and a 24/7 stream of your local NBC station.
No. Sunday Ticket is built for out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. Sunday Night Football is a national NBC broadcast, so buying Sunday Ticket for this game would be money wasted.
YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Fubo carry NBC. Fubo only got NBC back in June after a seven-month blackout. Sling’s NBC access depends on your city, so check your ZIP code before paying.
Mostly FOX on Sunday afternoons, including Thanksgiving. Two Monday nights are on ESPN, one Sunday game is on CBS, and NBC and Peacock return on December 27.
Game Night Plan for Cowboys at Packers
When we checked the NFL’s schedule listing against NBC’s Sunday Night Football lineup, both showed the same slot, and the NFL has this game tagged for possible flex scheduling. Sunday night games can be moved, so look again a few days out.
Dallas is the road team at Lambeau Field, and NBC has the broadcast with Peacock simulcasting it live. The NFL’s own listing also shows the game on NFL+, which is the route for a phone or tablet.
KICKOFF BY TIME ZONEPeacock accounts created at 8:15 on a Sunday are where most of the “it won’t load” complaints start: a password reset, a payment screen, a TV app that wants a code from your phone. Build the account earlier in the day and open the live NBC feed once to confirm it plays.
Expect the stream to trail the over-the-air signal by a bit. If a friend with an antenna texts a touchdown before you see it, that is the delay, not your internet.
Every Way to Watch, Side by Side
The sticker prices below are what a new subscriber sees today. We pulled each from the provider’s current rate card or a same-week price report, and Peacock, ESPN, and the live-TV bundles have all raised prices in recent months.
Green is free, purple is a single-purpose stream, amber is a budget bundle with local-channel limits, and slate is a full live-TV bundle. Fubo’s figure comes from a recent price report and may differ by plan.

What It Costs to Follow Dallas Through December
The Cowboys have ten more games on the books between October 18 and December 27, spread across four networks. Running the math on two approaches is where the real savings show up.
An antenna handles every FOX and CBS game. Add Peacock Premium for the two NBC months (October and December) and ESPN Unlimited for the two Monday-night months (also October and December). That is two months of each: about $25.98 for Peacock and $63.98 for ESPN, roughly $90 total before taxes. It is the worst case, because Monday games sometimes also air on ABC, which an antenna would catch for free.
The discipline is canceling. Set a reminder for the day after each game, because a forgotten $31.99 charge erases the savings fast.
YouTube TV carries NBC, ESPN, FOX, and CBS, and ESPN has said YouTube TV subscribers can unlock ESPN Unlimited at no extra charge. Three months at $82.99 comes to about $249, which is roughly $159 more than the part-time stack. What you buy with that gap is simplicity: one login, one bill, a cloud DVR, and nothing to cancel in the middle of a game week.
Peacock’s annual Premium plan is now $129.99. For two NBC games it is a poor deal, and so is any bundle that auto-renews into November. Month-to-month is the right tool when your interest is one team.
The Rest of the Schedule by Network
Here is every confirmed Cowboys game from October 18 through December 27, color-coded by the network that carries it. The January games are not on the chart because the NFL had not assigned their networks when we checked.
Purple is NBC and Peacock, red is ESPN, blue is FOX, and slate is CBS. Monday games may also be simulcast on ABC, so confirm in your listings.

Which Setup Fits Your Situation
One purchase covers the October 18 game on NBC and nearly every other Cowboys game on FOX and CBS. In the Dallas–Fort Worth market an antenna picks up the local FOX, CBS, NBC, and ABC stations, and the same logic applies in most metro areas. What it will not get is Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, anything that is ESPN-only, or Peacock-exclusive games.
Each of those has NBC in its lineup, so Sunday Night Football is already in your account. Open the guide, search for the game, and add it to your library. Fubo subscribers should note the NBC blackout that ended in June; if your channel list looks thin, confirm NBC shows up before game day.
Peacock Premium at $12.99 gets you Sunday Night Football on October 18 and again on December 27. Cancel after each. If you want the cleanest picture for the least thought, Premium Plus ($19.99) adds a 24/7 stream of your local NBC channel, which is handy if you also watch local news.
This is the most common surprise we see. Select is the lowest tier and it excludes live sports, so Sunday Night Football is locked behind Premium or Premium Plus. Switch plans in your Peacock account settings before kickoff; the game will not appear under Select no matter how many times you restart the app.
Sunday Ticket exists to show out-of-market games on Sunday afternoons. Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, and the Thanksgiving game are national broadcasts that the package does not unlock. Spending hundreds on it to follow Dallas at Green Bay would buy you nothing for that game.
The NFL lists NFL+ alongside NBC and Peacock for this game, so the mobile route exists. Peacock itself works on phones and tablets with a Premium plan. Test it on cellular data before you leave the house so a login prompt doesn’t surprise you at the tailgate.
Game times and networks reflect the NFL’s published schedule as of October 9, and prices reflect providers’ current rate cards and same-week price reports for new subscribers. Sunday Night Football games can be flexed to another time slot, and Monday games may add an ABC simulcast, so confirm with your provider or the NFL schedule page before you pay for anything. Fubo and Sling prices are approximate and vary by plan and market. Taxes and promotional pricing are not included.
